Viewed by some as the industry’s “Swiss Army Knife”, I’m a narrator, writer, aspiring filmmaker and former podcaster of pest control related content. My former role as co-host of the Arthropodcast Show landed me a few features in both of the major pest control industry magazines.
I proudly wear the title of Associate Certified Entomologist and have obtained over 11 years of pest control experience.
While I’m pretty well-versed in controlling all of the standard structural pests, I’d say bed bugs, ants and termites are my favorite arthropods to fight against.
I can’t say I sought out a career in pest control, I just stumbled upon a branch manager position that required extensive management experience. With over a decade in retail management, I decided to give it a try. In my wildest dreams, I didn’t think I’d be doing this for as long as I have. God willing, I hope to continue in this profession for another twenty years.
Like most pest professionals, I often receive questions about my scariest or most disgusting job. While I’ve seen my share of bad pest situations, nothing saddens me more than the way I’ve seen some parents speak to their children. That being said, I have far more heart-warming/positive stories than bad ones.
I’m definitely an introvert, but my social skills are strong enough for some folks to believe otherwise. I often dread attending social events all the way up to my arrival, but once in attendance, I’m fine.
Married to the most beautiful MSgt in the United States Air Force, my wife and I have two boys (12 and 6) and completely love our recently adopted Omaha community.
